It's no longer just launching a billion-dollar satellite and watching it fall back to Earth when it hits the end of it's lifespan. Our mission at Restore L is a mission to autonomously re-service and refuel another spacecraft in low Earth orbit that was never meant to be resurfaced. The benefit of Grand Valley is that with our education, especially in the engineering program, we're ready to just hit the ground running, get our hands dirty, do the work. I truthfully think that we are as well prepared or better prepared to actually do the job. And I think the employers see that. Doing the internship was a huge plus because I was able to come here, establish a network. And through that network, I was able to find out that there was this position available, the position I currently have. So it's all down to doing the internship here. The liberal education in general, I feel like it's really important. Obviously, the engineering is important, but there's a whole lot else that you need to bring with you to your job. My name is Joe Gibson. I'm a Senior Flight Software Engineer at NASA. And my laker effect is putting cool things in space.
